PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a server efficient and economical by providing a client with a server function and reducing the burden of the server. ;SOLUTION: Each client 5 is provided with a processing server 51, having a sever function, a client 5 trying to execute an AP(application) requests a processing sever 51 for the client 5 of a management server 3, and the server 3 requested to start the server 51 transmits a start request for the server 51 to the client 5 and starts the server 51 of the client 5. Another client trying to execute an AP requests the server 3 for a processing server of the client, the server 3 notifies the other client of the IP(Internet protocol) address of the active processing server in response to the request, and the client receiving the notification transfers processing to the processing server of the notified IP address in execution of the AP.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
