PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the mixing-in of bloodlike anomalies by forming a transmission image in reference wavelength and specific wavelength regions by transmitting light to a brown chicken egg via optical filters, converting the obtained video signal from analogue into digital from, obtaining a ratio of transmissivity by a gray-scale image, and setting an appropriate value of transmissivity as a threshold value.;SOLUTION: This device comprises an image pickup 20 provided in a sealed space and an image processing/computing part 21. The image pickup 20 is constituted of a chicken egg placing part 19, group of optical filters 13, and CCD camera 11. The chicken egg placing part 19 comprises a housing tube 12a in which a light source 12 is housed, a shielding plate 17 with a small hole 16 at its center to form a projection hole from the light source 12, and a supporting base 18 to enable a chicken egg 10 to be placed in a horizontally long position. The image processing/computing part 21 comprises an image fetching board 14 and an arithmetic part including a CPU 15. At the time of use, the chicken egg 10 is placed in a horizontally long position between the CCD camera 11 and light source 12 to obtain a transmission image through the use of transmitting light from the light source 12 and the group of optical filters 13, and its video image signal is transmitted to the image processing/computing part 21 and determined.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
