METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PRODUCING BOOKLET BY PRINTING ONE SET OF CONTINUOUS MANUSCRIPT PAGE ON SEVERAL RECEPTOR SHEETS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for printing of continuous manuscript pages on several receptor sheets.;SOLUTION: In a first printing mode, one page is printed on each surface of the receptor sheet in respective cases and in a second printing mode, two pages are successively printed on each surface of the receptor sheet and then the receptor sheet is folded in two. In the first printing mode, a first receptor sheet to be printed is a sheet to be a cover of one set of printing matter. When one set of manuscript sheets produced as a booklet are printed, the first receptor sheet to be printed is the receptor sheet being a central part of the booklet and a last receptor sheet to be printed is the receptor sheet being an outside of the booklet.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
