PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a brilliant coating without inevitable forming of a primer layer and/or clear final coating. ;SOLUTION: This brilliant coating contains a polymer component to be a coating film-forming element and an inorganic powder to be a brilliant pigment and is used for obtaining brilliant coating films having brilliant surfaces. The total or a part of the aforesaid polymer component is formed with a pigment carrying polymer. As the pigment carrying polymer, a polymer having ≥50,000 weight average molecular weight (Mw) and ≥1.48 refractive index (Abbe's refractometer) (nD) is used. The weight average molecular weight of the total polymer component is ≥50,000. The inorganic powder has ≥50 aspect ratio. The pigment weight content(PWC) in the coating film is ≤15 wt.%.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
