PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To limit the generation place of a sodium-water reaction to the inside of a heat exchanger tube even when a leakage is generated in the heat exchanger tube and to prevent the expansion of the reaction by a method wherein a pressure on the side of sodium is made higher than a pressure on the side of water. SOLUTION: When a leakage is generated in the heat exchanger tube 14 of a heat exchanger, a leak inflow is generated to the side of low-pressure water from the side of high-pressure sodium, the sodium creeps to the inside of the heat exchanger tube 14, and a sodium-water reaction is generated on the inside of the heat exchanger tube 14. Thereby, a region in which the sodium- water reaction is generated is limited to only the heat exchanger tube 14 in which the leakage is generated. As a result, the amount of a reaction product with generated hydrogen gas is reduced. Thereby, the constitution of a plant is simplified, and the safety of the plant can be increased.
