PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a new single dispersed-type crosslinked beadlike polymer having thiourea group and a method for adsorbing and removing metallic compounds, especially heavy metallic compounds or noble metallic compounds by using the polymer. ;SOLUTION: (a) A droplet of a monomer made from at least one kind of an aromatic monovinyl compound and at least one kind of an aromatic polyvinyl compound is reacted to make the single dispersed-type crosslinked beadlike polymer and (b) the single dispersed-type crosslinked beadlike polymer is carried out amidemethylation by using a phthalimide derivative. (c) The amidemethylated beadlike polymer is reacted to make a aminomethylated beadlike polymer and (d) the aminomethylated beadlike polymer is reacted with thiouric acid, a thiouric acid having a substituent group or a salt of thiocyanic acid.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
