PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably impart tension to a metallic sheet on an outlet side of the most downstream rolling stand without degrading gloss of the metallic sheet by providing plural rolling stands for executing rolling to the metallic sheet and outlet-side tension imparting rolls which are arranged on the outlet side of the most downstream rolling stand and on which crossed ground marks are imparted. ;SOLUTION: By imparting the crossed ground marks on a surface of a pinch roll or a bridle roll which is arranged on the outlet side of the most downstream rolling stand, rolling is executed. In this way, because the metallic sheet is very slightly reduced with the pinch roll imparting the crossed ground marks, shearing deformation in a rolling direction in the vicinity of the surface is increased by the crossed ground marks and the surface of the steel sheet is smoothed, not only degradation of the surface gloss can be prevented, but also the surface gloss is improved as compared with the bridle roll to which the ground marks parallel to the circumferential direction are imparted.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
