PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diamond tool capable of improving processing quality of a ground material and suppressing shortening of tool like by obtaining a tip shape of a diamond abrasive grain capable of reducing a roughness on a surface of the ground material even when using a large sized diamond abrasive grain to some extent, and to provide a processing method of the diamond tool capable of forming a abrasive grain shape having the tip shape in an easy way.;SOLUTION: This diamond tool and a glass plate 24 are rubbed together to generate a chemical reaction with a frictional heat so as to form a flat part 22a on an end of a diamond abrasive grain 22.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
