RECOVERY AND CONCENTRATION OF OLEOPHILIC FUNGAL SPORE AND ITS METABOLIC SUBSTANCE AND APPARATUS THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process and an apparatus for the recovery and concentration of oleophilic fungal spore and its metabolic product using small amount of oil, convenient for transportation, consuming small amount of oil and decreasing the production cost. ;SOLUTION: An oleophilic fungal spore and its metabolic product suspended in an oil 3 are recovered and concentrated to increase the concentration of the oleophilic fungal spores in the oil 3 by using an apparatus provided with a stirring tank 4, a pipe set 6, a temperature-controlled tank 5 and a recovery tank 7. The oleophilic fungal spore produced by this process does not consume a large amount of oil and is convenient for transportation and storage. The separated filtrate 64 contains other metabolic products and can be recovered with the recovery tank 7 and reused and, accordingly, the consumption of oil can be decreased to remarkably reduce the production cost.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
