METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR FINAL DISPOSAL OF WASTE USING EXISTING RECLAMATION WASTE DISPOSAL SITE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the elution of noble metals from a waste reclamation layer by arranging a ventilation means on the upper surface of the reclamation layer, controlling the ventilation of the means corresponding to the pH value in a waste layer formed in the upper part of the means, and confirming the reducing atmosphere in the layer similarly by an ORP value. ;SOLUTION: An intermediate earth cover layer 4 is formed on an existing waste reclamation layer 3, and a ventilation pipe 9 having numbers of ventilation holes used as a leachate drain pipe in common is arranged in a tree branch shape in the upper part of the layer 4. Air is supplied by the pipe 9 while leachate is collected/discharged, waste is damped in the upper part, and numbers of waste layers 10 and covering earth layers 11 are formed in turn. After that, the pH and ORP values of leachate from the pipe 9 are measured occasionally, the pipe 9 is closed when the pH value has been neutralized by the dissolution in the leachate and chemical reaction of carbon dioxide in ventilation air, and the intrusion of air into the reclamation layer is prevented so that it is made anaerobic promptly.
