PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To humanely or friendlily capture an illegal high-speed territorial water violating ship by use of strategy and a means having no killing and wounding performance. ;SOLUTION: This rolled self-expanding capture net 1 is thrown down ahead of a course of the high-speed territorial water violating ship from an air carrier means to cause self-expansion of the net 1. Simultaneously with the self- expansion of the net 1, buoyant lock ropes 2 vertically rise toward the water surface. When a screw of the territorial water violating ship passes through the lock ropes 2 standing side by side, the lock ropes 2 are caught in a current and led to the screw to twine about the screw. The twining of the several ropes 2 draws a large self-expanding net body. As a result, rotation force of the screw is reduced or the screw is locked and stopped to stop the territorial water violating ship.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
