PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject preparation low in penetrability into the skin, with low irritancy to the skin, and capable of mitigating the irritancy of the skin-irritative substance therein as well, and useful as a cosmetic or the like by including a compound derived from procaryote. ;SOLUTION: This preparation is obtained by including a compound derived from procaryote (pref. microorganisms belonging to the genus Bacillus), pref. a lipopeptide compound or the like of the formula (X is an amino acid selected from leucine, isoleucine and valine; R is a 9-13C n-alkyl, isoalkyl or antisoalkyl).
