"ALLOY FOR THE MODIFIED TI-V-ZR-NI-MN-CR ELECTROCHEMICAL HYDROGEN STORAGE, AND, CASTING PROCESS OF AN INGOT OF THE SAME". A modified Ti-V-Zr-Ni-Mn-Cr electrochemical hydrogen alloy that has at least one of the following characteristics: 1) an increased charge / discharge speed capability over that Ti electrochemical hydrogen storage alloy -V-Zr-Ni-Mn-Cr base; 2) a requirement for formation cyclization that is reduced to one tenth that of the Ti-V-Zr-Ni-Mn-Cr base electrochemical hydrogen storage alloy; 3) no chemical / thermal activation of the modified alloy is required to achieve full operating capacity as required by the electrochemical hydrogen storage alloy of Ti-V-Zr-Ni-Mn-Cr base and 4) a surface layer of oxide that has a higher electrochemical catalytic hydrogen storage activity than that of the Ti-V-Zr-Ni-Mn-Cr electrochemical hydrogen storage alloy.
