This invention relates to a gelatine foam structure used in medical applications and its manufacturing process. The subject of the invention is prepared from the hydrated solution of gelatine which is a natural-sourced and biologically conformable substance. In this purpose, gelatine is resolved in certain proportions in an appropriate solvent. Additives can be used in the mixture to enhance the durability and strength and adjust the elasticity. The prepared solution of gelatine is mixed at high rotation speed and foam is obtained from the gelatine. The gelatine in foam shape on the upper part of the solution vessel is preferably transferred to the cooled vessels and immediately frozen. Cooling and freezing processes are usually carried out in liquid nitrogen environment. The frozen foam is dried by means of method of 'freeze-dry'. (Continued)
