A shower head 2 has a first chamber 28 defined in part by an outer wall or body 4 and having an entrance bush 30 to receive a supply of water in direction A which is deflected by a baffle 36 on spaced legs 32 depending from the bush 30. The shower head has a second chamber 6 comprising an upper conical wall 8 formed with a ring of openings 46 therein through which water can pass from the chamber 28 into the second chamber. The second chamber 6 has a lower wall or spray plate 10 with fine water outlet apertures 14 and also has an external peripheral rim 26 at the level of the spray plate. The second chamber 6 is a one-piece unit in which the upper wall 8 is secured to the baffle 36 by a screw threaded bolt 38 acting to pull the second chamber into the first chamber and clamp the peripheral rim against a sealing ring 16 pressing on an internal annular shoulder 44 of the outer wall or body 4.
