Transgenic mice overexpressing model NTRK3 gene (trk) based on the same for the study and monitoring of treatment of anxiety, depression and related psychiatric disorders. They have developed transgenic mouse lines overexpressing NTRK3 (TRKC) gene located in the chromosomal region 15q24-25 duplicated in patients with anxiety disorders. Transgenic mice developed constitute a model for the study of the pathophysiology, and the development of pharmacological, genetic and behavioral treatments for anxiety and depression and related psychiatric disorders, among others, panic disorders, agoraphobia, social phobia, simple phobia , bipolar disorder, eating disorders (type anorexia, bulimia and obesity), drug addiction, etc.
