METHOD FOR ACTUATING A TUBE-SHAPED GAS LIGHTER, VARIANTS AND TUBE-SHAPED GAS LIGHTER

The present invention relates to a method for actuating a lighter that comprises the following steps: holding the body of the lighter; shifting the head of the body along the body axis so as to open the burner valve attached in the body and so as to release into the atmosphere the gas contained in a liquefied gas tank; holding the head of the body in the shifted position, wherein said head supports an ignition device comprising a dented or relief member and a flint; and rotating the dented or relief member of the ignition device of the body head so as to create a spark and ignite the gas. The head of the body is shifted along the body axis in a direction starting from the liquefied gas tank. In order to generate a spark and ignite the gas, the rotation of the dented or relief member of the head ignition device is achieved by rotating the head of the body about the axis of said body.
