The invention concerns a method for quantization of the antiviral effect of antiviral active principles comprising the following steps: (a) transducing cells with a viral vector with no or attenuated replication capacity, containing all the genetic data required for infecting a cell with a type of target virus, said viral vector further containing a genetic information for expressing a marking substance in the infected cell and, besides a viral gene, at least another viral sequence being modified such that, in a transducer cell, no viral constituent or potentially pathogenic virus can be formed; (b) before, during and/or after transduction and/or optionally, before, during and/or DNA transcription induction, introducing a prospective antiviral active principle, in a specific dose, into the cells; and (c) quantitatively analysing the activity at the expressed marking substance and determining a reduction, with respect to an activity at the expressed marking substance during transduction and/or induction without addition of antiviral active principles.
