According to the invention a resistive current limiter contains an electrically insulating support element (3) and at least one printed conductor structure (10) positioned thereon which comprises a printed conductor (11) made of a high-Tc superconductive material. The printed conductor has straight and curved sections (11g and 11b, respectively). In the curved sections (11b) a maximum internal radius/external radius ratio v of 7 is to be maintained (v = ra/ri, where ra = external radius, ri = internal radius). The printed conductor (11) is advantageously obtained by structuring from a layer made of the high-Tc superconductive material which has been deposited on the support element (3).
