DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DISPLAYING INTERNATIONAL STANDARD TIME BY USING INTERNET

PURPOSE: A method for displaying international standard time by using the internet is provided to constantly display the international/local standard time, day, and date whenever a user uses a computer by receiving a clock program through the internet and installing the clock program to the user computer. CONSTITUTION: A method for displaying international standard time by using the internet is composed of connection, selection, execution, and update. A user connects to a main server(20) through the internet, selects a clock program that displays the international standard time, date, and day from different kinds of programs, and installs the downloaded program. Constant and automatic international standard time update data is received from the main server. Advertisement graphic data is transmitted with the periodic update and an advertisement is displayed on the monitor. The clock program is automatically executed whenever the computer is booted to identify the international standard time and the advertisement on the monitor.
