PURPOSE: An optical transmission apparatus for IS-95C(CDMA2000 1x) integrated service using an IS-95A/B base station and a signal transmitting and receiving method using the same are provided to reduce an initial investment expense on an IS-95C by providers by doing IS-95A/B service and IS-95C service together without a base station for the IS-95C in an area with less traffic by using the IS-95A/B base station already installed nationwide.
