POGOSTEMON CABLIN BENTH EXTRACT AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF AND CIGARETTE WITH POGOSTEMON CABLIN BENTH EXTRACT

PURPOSE: A pogostemon cablin benth extract, manufacturing method thereof, and a cigarette with the pogostemon cablin benth extract are provided to improve the quality of the cigarette, to maintain the uniformity of the cigarette, and to reduce the cost of production of the cigarette. CONSTITUTION: The pogostemon cablin benth extract containing patchouli alcohol of 1.2wt percent attained by extracting pogostemon cablin benth with isopropyl alcohol is a blackish brown viscous liquid, and is melted in PG and alcohol solution. According to the method for manufacturing the pogostemon cablin benth extract, the cut pogostemon cablin benth is extracted at a temperature of 40 to 45 deg.C for 6 to 7hours by using the isopropyl alcohol before filtering the pogostemon cablin benth. After that, the fine pogostemon cablin benth is repeatedly extracted and filtered at the temperature of 40 to 45 deg.C for 6 to 7hours over three times. After collecting the remaining liquid, the remaining liquid is concentrated under 45 deg.C. The obtained pogostemon cablin benth extract of 195 grams is contained in the cigarette of 100 kilograms.
