METHOD FOR PREPARING ACANTHOPANAX KOREANUM HEALTH DRINK

PURPOSE: An Acanthopanax koreanum health drink, which keeps the medicine effects and preference of Acanthopanax koreanum as it is, is provided through a method to improve functions of the drink, increase the using rate of raw materials, and reduce the concentrating time. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing an Acanthopanax koreanum health drink comprises: (i) a first step to dry and pulverize Acanthopanax koreanum; (ii) a second step to extract the pre-treated materials with 30-80% ethylalcohol, add licorice or stevia, and extract again residual substances with refined water; (iii) a third step to filter and concentrate for soluble solid content to reach 40-60%; and (iv) a fourth step to combine the concentrated extract of the first extract process and the cleaned material of the second extract process, add water for soluble solid content to reach 0.1-0.5%, and then add Acanthopanax koreanum extract solution 80-90wt.%, natural malic acid 1-5wt.%, sweetenings 5-15wt.% and/or a little spices.
