PURPOSE: A carbon source preparing technology for advanced biological treatment of sewage and wastewater using sewage sludge is provided, which can substitute methanol that is used so far by producing organic acid through acid fermentation as an organic carbon source of denitrification process and also can increase denitrification efficiency. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises the followings: (i) a primary aerobic tank (2-1) to which water is fed; (ii) an anoxic tank (2-2) to which supernatant of a solid-liquid separation tank (4) is fed; (iii) a secondary aerobic tank (2-3) from which aerated water is fed to a settling tank (3) and sludge is recycled to the anoxic tank (2-2); (iv) a settling tank (3) for settling, discharging treated water and recycling sludge to an acid fermentation tank (1); and (v) a solid-liquid separation tank (4) for separating and discharging solid to a hydrolysis promoting tank (6) and a stabilizing tank (5) and for feeding liquid to the anoxic tank (2-2).
