PURPOSE: A method and a system are provided to supply a new format of electronic document having an editorial construction which is the same as of a printed document, in which a text format and a graphic format are combined with each other and multimedia elements are added thereto. CONSTITUTION: The system for providing a digital electronic document comprises a database(300) for storing data including a basic electronic document format of data and a multimedia electronic document data format of data; an object combined server(230) for combining the data stored in the database(300) as an object unit; a Digital Rights Express server(260) for allotting a certifying key to a digital data combined by the object combined server(230); and an interface(120) for allowing the data to be communicated with the outside. The system for providing a digital electronic document further comprises an advertisement database(240). The database(300) includes a cyber library administrating server(280) for controlling a link to the transmitted digital data.
