Connecting components are provided, which are so formed, that they can be fitted between the seam lips (11) of abutting seam parts (10) and a forced locking connection of the seam parts is formed. An upper seam lip (11) is located in the plane of the outer surface of the seam part and a lower seam lip (12) is so arranged at an angle to the inner surface or lower side (14) of the seam part that a self-centering of the seam surfaces (16) of abutting seam parts is achieved. The connecting components are separately produced and are introduced, particularly adhered, in the seam surfaces for production of a forced locking connection. The connecting components have a thin, fibre-reinforced outer skin and a foam core.
