Plastisol comprises (A) 100 parts weight methyl methacrylate (co)polymer(s), (B) 5-400 parts weight ester plasticizers with alcohol component different from (A), and (C) 0-700 parts weight inorganic filler. The plastisol also contains ester exchange catalyst(s) (D), promoting ester exchange between constituent(s) of (A) and (B) between room temperature and the plastisol gelation temperature. The plastisol comprises a mixture of: (A) 100 parts weight (co)polymer(s) of (a) 20-100 wt.% methyl methacrylate, (b) 0-80 wt.% (cyclo)alkyl, phenyl or naphthyl (meth)acrylate of formula (I), (c) 0-40 wt.% other vinyl unsaturated monomer and (d) 0-40 wt.% of an adhesion-promoting monomer; (B) 5-400 parts weight ester plasticizer(s), in which the alcohol component is different from the alcohol components of at least one component of (A); and (C) 0-700 parts weight inorganic filler. The novelty is that the plastisol also contains ester exchange catalyst(s) (D), which can cause ester exchange between constituent(s) of (A) and (B) between room temperature and the gelation temperature of the plastisol: R1 = H or Me; and R2 = 1-18C linear or branched or cycloalkyl, phenyl or naphthyl. Independent claims are also included for (a) the production of plastisol compositions by mixing components (A), (B), (C), (D) and optionally the usual additives; (b) moldings made by gelling the plastisols.
