A circuit arrangement transforms an alternating voltage of one frequency into a selectable alternating voltage with a selectable frequency. There is a mains filter(3) located at the circuit input for the avoidance of mains feedback effects of the mains supply. Subsequently there is a frequency converter (4) with an output connected to the input of a sine filter (5). The filter output is connected on the primary side to an AC transformer(6). The AC transformer primary is delta connected, and the secondary is star connected. The output voltages are supplied by the secondary.
