The pipe clamp comprises two arc-shaped side sections (3, 4). These are held together by a top section (2) with a locking screw (21) and a counter-plate (5) at the bottom. The top section has slots (22, 23) into which tabs (31, 41) on the side sections fit. The counter-plate has a slot (52) which cooperates with a lug (32) on one of the side sections (3) and a catch (51) which fits into a slot (42) on the other side section (4).
