Analysis circuit (6) is connected to a signal generator (1) with a sampling inductive signal recorder (4). The analysis circuit digitizes the signal in conjunction with a microprocessor (7). The analysis circuit is connected to the microprocessor by serial interfaces (6.3, 8, 9) which also allow the microprocessor to be used to program the analysis circuit. The serial interface includes a digital data bus (9) for programming while a digitized rotational velocity signal is sent along data bus (10).
