A cost-intensive removal device for the disc elements with separate feeder is dispensed with in the backup device for loading of disc elements, especially tin-covers or caps, the backup or buffer magazine (12) with its entry end lying in the transfer area (14), is covered over by the feed device (17) of the feeder (13,15) and between the feeder and the buffer or backup magazine (12) are arranged turning elements for the disc elements, such that they can be brought out of the transfer area (14).
