The tracked earthmoving machine with a swing function, such as an excavator and the like with a swing table (3), has a rear shrouding (28) with a swing unit at the upper and leading end of the hood, with a lateral swing axis. The rear hood (28) is moved into one setting where it covers the motor (11), and into an open setting where the motor is exposed. The side hood has a swing unit at its lower leading end, with a lateral swing axis, to cover the hydraulic mechanism and be opened to give access to it. The edges of the hood shroudings are structured to give a smooth transit between them.
