The navigation system has a navigation terminal (1) provided with an antenna (2) and a receiver (8), for reception of coded messages for dynamic target tracking and a decoder (6) providing the target tracking information. The receiver is incorporated in an additional module (3) between the antenna and the navigation terminal, which verifies access authorization to the coded dynamic target tracking messages, e.g. using verification of scanned chip card data.
