The vehicle seat has a parallelogram height-adjustment, with front (3) and rear (4) guide rods on each side, which have upper joint points (10,11) connected to the seat part frame (2) and lower joint points (8,9) directly or indirectly connected to the vehicle floor. A seat belt clasp support (12) supporting a belt clasp (14) is fixed between the upper and lower joint points on the rear guide rod. The belt clasp support is fixed in a first joint point (13) at the rear guide rod and has a second joint point (16) between the first joint point and the belt clasp, in which a coupling (17) is pivotably connected to the belt clasp support. The other end of the of the coupling is connected to a joint point (18) connected directly or indirectly to the vehicle floor and is arranged above the lower joint point of the rear guide rod. The belt clasp is guided by the four-joint mechanism (9,13,16,18), so that it remains at the same angle in relation to the H-point (19) of a passenger in any seat position.
