Propellant powder (I) containing surface treatment material(s) polymerized in situ in the boundary layer of the grain surface. An Independent claim is also included for a process for the production of (I) by coating the surface of a propellant powder with polymerizable surface treatment material(s) (II) in such a way that (II) penetrates into the boundary layer, and then polymerizing (II) in situ.
