CT system (10) has a processing and controlling device that is programmed to undertake the following steps: production of partially reconstructed images on a display; dynamic reformatting of images for display on the same display; transfer over a network of the partially reconstructed images, the newly formatted images or of the data to a remote location that is equipped with remote control capabilities. Independent claims are made for a CT system where the processing device carries out weighting of the data to ensure a smooth transfer between sequential images and the image formatting uses image interpolation.
