摘要
Petrographic analysis and classification of rock textures comprises use of scheme based on porosity and its quantified nature, obtained from images of samples. Each rock image is classified in accordance with a scheme. Its framework is defined by diverse textural parameters. These include topological, metric- and composite-metric parameters. (reference to the illustration is recommended). Each scheme is segmented into several images, to a predetermined degree. Each image is classified, inscribing on each, zones corresponding to textural density classes in accordance with a model of the predefined scheme. The scheme of images obtained by segmentation is reconstructed, resulting in maps of textural density heterogeneity. These maps are used to highlight textural density heterogeneity vertically. Units and sequences of textural density heterogeneity are described vertically. Preferred Features: Segmentation results in graphics representing global, hierarchical description. Solid- and pore compositions are shown simultaneously, with their separate elementary descriptions. The model scheme resulting comprises 5 classes in accordance with the pore component textural organization. It includes 5 classes describing interpretation of textural heterogeneity of the reservoir (e.g. in terms of rock suitability for use as reservoir). Maps of textural density heterogeneity obtained in accordance with the classification are superimposed to subdivide a reservoir into units and into a textural sequence of exploitation.
