The rectification circuit utilizes a series of six Zener or high voltage diodes (D1 to D6) connected in parallel. Positive and negative terminals are formed across the bridge that supply the rectified current. Diode pairs are connected to the cathodes to the three phase Graetz bridge with a varistor located at the extreme ends of the bridging circuit. An Independent claim is included for an alternator utilizing the described circuit.
