The artificial insemination catheter (1) has a lower soft and flexible section which has a throttled end (5) to guide the insemination fluid into the uterus of the rabbit. Alternatively, the tube can be rigid and contain a sliding piston (2) to pass the fluid into the lower softer section of the catheter tube. The throttled end can enlarge under pressure to allow passage of the fluid.
