PURPOSE: To provide a sample sucking device which is increased in sample sucking speed to a sample analyzer using a flow type measuring cell. ;CONSTITUTION: In a sample sucking device which introduces samples contained in sample containers 1a, 1b, 1c,... to a flow type measuring cell 4 through a sample introducing tube 3 by actuating a first sample suction pump 5 and measures the potential at an electrode provided in the cell 4, a standby suction tube 7 is connected to the tube 3 on the upstream side of the cell 4 through a first sample sucking route switching valve 6 and a second sample suction pump 8 is installed to the tube 7. Since the pump 8 is actuated to bring a second sample to the vicinity of the entrance of the cell 4 by switching the valve 6 to the tube 7 side while a first sample is measured in the cell 4, the time required for introducing the second sample to the cell 4 can be reduced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
