PURPOSE: To provide a catalyst with which SOX in a waste gas is reduced without deteriorating the original function of an FCC catalyst and provide a catalytic cracking method employing the catalyst. ;CONSTITUTION: This catalyst for catalytic cracking consists of a particle mixture composed of cracking catalyst particles (A) produced by uniformly dispersing crystalline aluminosilicate type zeolite in a porous inorganic oxide matrix and alumina particles (B) containing rare earth metals and phosphorus components.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
