PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise ordering device that can grasp a wanted procurement number and a wanted supply number and easily decide an ordering number according to the wanted procurement number and the wanted supply number.;SOLUTION: The merchandise ordering device 5 comprises a receiving part 51, a determining part 52 and an ordering part 53. The receiving part 51 receives a wanted supply number and a wanted procurement number. The determining part 52 computes a difference number between the wanted supply number and the wanted procurement number, and compares a threshold value and the difference number to decide that the order is acceptable if the difference number is smaller than the threshold value, or that the order is unacceptable if the difference number is equal to or larger than the threshold value. If the decision shows that the order is acceptable, the ordering part 53 decides that the wanted procurement number is an ordering number if the wanted supply number is smaller than the wanted procurement number, or that the wanted supply number is an ordering number if the wanted supply number is equal to or larger than the wanted procurement number, before transmitting the ordering number.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
