PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the overall length of a farming machine by coupling a tilling rotor and a grounding type transplanting machine together one over the other. ;SOLUTION: A tilling rotor 3 which has a tilling blade 9 is fitted to the rear hitch of the farming machine 2, the pot mount part 16 of the ground contact type transplanter 1 having a grounding surface 12 on the rear side in a traveling direction A is positioned above the tilling rotor 3, and an upper fitting body 28 fitted to the reverse surface of the pot seedling mount part 16 so that it can swing is engaged with a lower fitting body 39 projected from the support frame 34 of the tilling rotor 3; and the transplanter 1 is coupled with the farming machine 2 and as the farming machine 2 travels, a setting groove S is formed by the tilling rotor 3. Then continuous pot seedlings 14 drawn out of a seedling box 15 mounted on the pot seedling mount part 16 of the transplanter 1 are conveyed from a pot seedling guide part 17 to a pot seedling feeding-out part 18 and planted successively in the bottom of the setting groove S.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
