PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of defective compaction due to soil quality, etc., and even miniaturize a machine body in an agricultural working machine for an upland field equipped with each compacting device for compacting soil covering seedlings or seeds transplanted or sowed in the upland field.;SOLUTION: This agricultural working machine for the upland field is composed so that each compacting action part 29a of the compacting device 27 is vertically moved so as to press soil in one objective site of compacting several times. The compacting action part 29a of the compacting device 27 is formed in a platy form and the compacting action part 29a of the compacting device 27 is installed so that the frequency of pressing the soil in the one objective site of compacting can be regulated. The compacting action part 29a of the compacting device 27 is composed so as to vertically move while contacting the ground of the field surface.
