PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling bean yellow-spot mosaic virus which causes heavy damage to an infectious plant of bean family, gentian family or the like, and further to provide a bean yellow-spot mosaic virus-resistant plant.;SOLUTION: The control of the bean yellow-spot mosaic virus is made possible by previously inoculating an attenuated virus of the bean yellow-spot mosaic virus which causes mild virus symptom, and stably exhibits mild symptom even in subinoculation and after alteration of generation into the plant.
