PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of rapidly preparing high-purity sodium tellurite without generating impurities by a simple process step.;SOLUTION: This method has a process step of dissolving tellurium dioxide into an aqueous sodium hydroxide solution or sodium hydrogencarbonate and an equal molar amount of a sodium carbonate solution in such a manner that the amount of a sodium element attains a twice molar amount with respect to the amount of a tellurium element, a process step of depositing sodium tellurite hydrate by heating the dissolved aqueous solution, a process step of heating and drying the deposited substance and a process step of fining the heated and dried substance by pulverizing.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
