PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate such problems that when mosaic tiles are selected as constituent materials for a coaster, and the mosaic tiles are arranged on a hard plate-form bottom base material and bonded, if there is a gap between the mosaic tiles, a foreign object is pinched between the mosaic tiles and cannot be removed, but when the gaps between the mosaic tiles are filled with a joint material, water drops from a glass or the like stay on the surface of the coaster.;SOLUTION: This coaster 1 comprises a large number of mosaic constituent pieces 2 which are required to constitute a mosaic pattern, the bottom base material 3 on which the mosaic constituent pieces 2 are arranged, and a bonding member to bond the mosaic constituent pieces 2 to the bottom base material 3. In this base, the bottom base material 3 is formed of a sheet having flexibility. Then, the mosaic constituent pieces 2 are arranged on the sheet, and the sheet and the mosaic constituent pieces 2 are bonded with the bonding member. Also, the side end surfaces of adjacent mosaic constituent pieces 2 are kept under a non-bonded state for this coaster 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
