PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-hall guide system, in-hall guide server, control method for the in-hall guide server, record medium and program enabling visitors to efficiently and comfortably use the facilities, on the assumption that there is a long queue of waiting people in large-scale amusement facilities such as a theme park.;SOLUTION: A portable terminal 400 is provided with an input part 420 for inputting inquiry information, and a display part 430 for displaying characters and a static image. A wireless relay device 200 is provided with a relay part for transmitting and receiving a radio wave. The in-hall guide server 100 is at least provided with attraction information 166 storing attraction information, map information 125 storing map information, a retrieval part 160 extracting retrieval result information matching the inquiry information, and a display information regenerating part 130 for generating display information for displaying retrieval result information to a portable terminal through a radio communication line.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
