PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for carrying baggage which solves prodigious labor required to ascend and descend the stairs with heavy baggage or the like in hand.;SOLUTION: Several pairs of cylindrical rollers 5 provided with a buffer in a truncated chevron shape or a reverse truncated chevron shape with the ascending and descending direction of baggage as an axis are symmetrically placed in the bottom face of a suitcase. By attaching the rollers so as to overlap a little each other, the carriage of the baggage can be smoothly performed without a break when slid the corner of the stairs. At this time, the more the angle formed by the axis of the ascending and descending direction of the baggage and the attaching axis of the roller approaches 90 degree, the easier traction becomes. Moreover, because the roller does not rotate when the face to which these cylindrical rollers 5 are attached is placed on a flat ground, the suitcase does not move and serves as a stopper.
