PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet printing head nozzle constituent capable of obtaining a good printing quality by a simple method.;SOLUTION: A method for forming a nozzle in an ink-jet printing head constituent, for eliminating a material from a constituent by a laser and forming a nozzle during the operation, is provided. According to the method, a mask is irradiated with a laser beam such that the material is eliminated by the sub beam after passage of at least a sub beam through the mask. According to the method, inhomogeneity of the laser bema is compensated by moving the laser beam with respect to the mask in a direction substantially parallel to the mask such that the sub beam is generated from different parts of the laser bema during the elimination of the material.
